The swimming pool is open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 7 days a week.

Who can use the swimming pool for free?
In-house hotel guests at Hotel Shanker can enjoy the swimming pool free of charge during operating hours.
Can visitors use the pool?
Visitors who are not staying at the hotel must purchase a day pass to access the swimming pool.
How long and deep is the swimming pool?
The swimming pool measures 50 ft in length, 25 ft in breadth, with a minimum depth of 2 ft and maximum depth of 5ft.
Children (12 years or younger) receive a discounted day rate.
Can I visit for a few hours?
A day pass allows access during operating hours on the same day.
At Hotel Shanker, all swimming pool day-use and membership rates are officially published and inclusive of 13% VAT. Standard daily rates are generally non-negotiable at the point of inquiry.
Can I request a special discount or customized package?
Guests interested in long-term memberships, corporate packages, group enrollments, or special arrangements may submit a request for review.
What happens for a special rate request?
Your inquiry will be referred to the concerned department. They will:
- Review the request.
- Assess eligibility and availability.
- Respond directly with a formal confirmation.
Is the pool tempreture controlled?
The pool is outdoor and not tempreture controlled.
Is proper swimwear required?
Appropriate swimwear is mandatory. Street clothes are not permitted inside the pool.
Is outside food and beverage allowed?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Guests may enjoy snacks and drinks from the hotel's poolside bar.
Are towel and changing facilities available?
A basic changing facility is available. Complimentary towels are provided for all day-pass users and members.
Is the swimming pool membership free?
All swimming pool membership are paid plans.
The rates mentioned above apply ONLY to pool memberships and DO NOT include Room Membership rates or room stays.
Executive Membership (3 Months) includes:
- One spa session per month
- One haircut per month
- One steam session per month
What is the Cancellation / Refund Policy for the Swimming Pool Membership?
Swimming Pool Membership fees are generally non-refundable once purchased. However, members can request a pause or transfer of their membership in case of emergencies or extended absence, subject to approval. Please contact the hotel team or the Pool Desk at swimming pool for assistance.
